Can I use Meta refresh?

Meta Refresh/Robots Tags are not looked upon kindly by search engines and can play a major part in determining the success of your page becoming indexed. Before submitting your web page you should always check your HTML code first for the following Meta Tags. These Tags will be located between the <head> and </head> Tags.

<Meta HTTP-equiv="Refresh" content="0;URL=http://www.url.com/folder/filename.HTML">

This type of {ShowGlossar:301} is designed to Redirect a web browser from your page to another website all together. If you have included a redirect Meta Tag, like the example above, in your .HTML code then the search engine spider will almost always ignore your website and never Index any of the content of the page.

 

This is a useless Robot tag because it is the default setting. Save this text for content!
