Link profile

You really want to do some link building but you don’t know where to start? You know that Google’s ranking algorithm relies on roughly 70% on your sites popularity (i.e. incoming links). But which links are good and which not so much? And if I want to us the link building secrets of your competition, which competitor should you copy and which certainly not?

The result of al this confusion can be that you start copying the link strategy of the wrong competitor, get some links with a high spamscore and whoops, there goes your site’s rankings (… and traffic, and turnover). This is not what you want.

But there is a solution!

We added some new tools in SEO Effect that wil certainly help. But first let me quote a customer. He told this when we asked him to take a test drive with the new functions to separate the weed form the chaff in your competition.

In the last 6 months I’m using this strategy: I look for top quality links that my competitors have via the SEO Effect link prospect tool. It takes at least a day per week of my time, but I’m in a highly competitive market. Organic search traffic has increased with 550% since I started, and I got a 320% increase of referral traffic via those links. And in my company, a budget for online PR has finally been approved.
I’m very happy with this latest update, because now I it is much easier to see which competitor has the best link profile and to unravel the underlying strategy. I also now have one view that gives me a quick assessment of how my link profile stacks up to my competitors.

So which competitor has the best linkprofile and the highest authority? If you want to dive into a link profile, which one to choose? And which link profile is so spammy it is best avoided altogether?

All this is found in the new report. You should not do without in your set of link building tools! Let’s get stuck in!
